Gloat announced today that their new Career Agility Suite and Frontline Employee Solution are now available as part of the company’s portfolio of product offerings.
The Career Agility Suite aims to help businesses work with employees in their long-term career goals. Instead of relying on traditional job architectures, Gloat’s‘s artificial intelligence uses basic skills, interests, and job information to generate multiple Career Journey options for every employee. According to Gloat, the software’s artificial intelligence works to identify changes in job-specific requirements and new emerging roles — adjusting its recommendations accordingly and giving employees the opportunity to seek out and discover new roles within their organization.
The Career Agility Suite’s “Career Journey” capability offers employees a variety of possible career and skill-based “journeys,” based on the employee’s skills and interests — while recognizing that employees are likely looking at multiple journeys both inside and outside of their organizations. Grouped into “popular,” “desired” and “management,” Gloat looks to easily categorize the different journeys available to employees.
“Career Journey” categories are outlined by the skill and experience gaps an employee must bridge to transition into that role, where they can then access oriented career tracks that provide step-by-step learning or project opportunities to help them progress towards their desired career goals. Business and talent managers can direct employees in an effort to suit their development needs.
“We’re amidst a talent revolution right now,” said Ben Reuveni, CEO of Gloat. “The ‘Great Resignation’ is signaling that traditional career ladders and traditional development models aren’t working. Employees lack support to navigate the modern career path. Gloat’s Career Agility Suite enables businesses to provide this support and retain critical talent within their organization.”
Along with these offerings for employees of businesses, Gloat is also debuting their new products for frontline workers. According to Gloat, Employees in these roles have the same desire for growth and opportunity, but they encounter unique obstacles such as connectivity barriers and job-specific time constraints. Frontline workers will now be included in Gloat’s talent marketplace, introducing workers to their micro-learning and on-the-job shadowing opportunities, all accessible while mobile.
